William David Bissette

William David Bissette, 59, of Fayetteville, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

David never met a stranger and he was always full of joy. He brought a smile to everyone’s face and always had the ability to invoke laughter. One of his favorite past times was listening to music – particularly old hymns. He loved to sing and praise the Lord.

David is survived by his sister, Lynne Greene; niece, Krystle Greene; aunt, Elaine Wilson; and great nephew, Cole Greene. David is also survived by his longtime friend and caregiver, Angela Coley. He considered her his “best friend.” They spent many hours together listening to music and singing Jesus Loves Me, one of his favorites.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Ann and W.A. Bissette and nephew, Jacob Greene.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 3 pm at Lafayette Memorial Park, 2301 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301, with Pastor Jon Wixtrom presiding.

Services are entrusted to Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service & Crematory.
