William "Bill" Clyde Stump

William “Bill” C. Stump, 63, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, September 12, 2012.  Bill was a member of Phoenix Lodge No, 8, Sudan Shriners, and Sudan Hillbillies Marching Unit.  He loved taking his “Hillbillie Golf Cart” to parades all over eastern North Carolina helping raise money for the Shriners Hospitals.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Stump of the home; daughter Dawn Fitch and husband Reese Fitch of Fayetteville, sons Christopher Bennett of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Anthony Bennett of Houston, TX, sister Delores Ponder of Fayetteville, brother Dar Stump of Fayetteville, special grandchildren, Tori Bennett, Destiny Johnson, Jeremy Fitch, Christopher Bennett, Jr., and three granddaughters of Houston, TX, and special friends John and Linda McCray of Fayetteville.
Services:  Memorial Service at 2 p.m. at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service and Crematory in Fayetteville.  Visitation at 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
