Walter Ernest Fehlauer

Walter Ernest Fehlauer, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away on February 3, 2022, at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Walt was born in Chicago, Illinois. He was the loving husband to the late Margie Fehlauer. They shared 62 years of marriage together. He was retired from the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. 

 Walt loved his family, if you ever needed anything he was always there to help. He will be remembered for his witty personality. He had a love for reading and he always had a joke to tell.

 He is survived by his daughter Pamela Thomas and husband Gene; grandchildren Travis Fehlauer and wife Heather, Misty Thomas and husband Jeff, Shane Thomas and wife Manuela, Jennifer Calloway and husband Shane, and LaBroan Land and wife Crystal; great- grandchildren, Hailey, Emma, Allie, Alexis, Carson, Beverly, Logan, Dillion, Jim, and Cheyenne. He is preceded in death by his wife Margie and children Twila Fehlauer and Walter A. Fehlauer. 

 A graveside service will be held on Friday February 18, 2022 at 1:00pm at Lafayette Memorial Park.
