Virginia "Gennie" Forsyth Autry

Mrs. Virginia “Gennie” Forsyth Autry, 76, 0f Stedman, NC went home to be with the Lord, on January 22, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 4, 1941 in Vance County, NC to the late Louis Forsythe and Cora Belle Forsythe. She was a devoted member of Magnolia Baptist Church for over 50 years.

Preceding her in death also were her husband of 55 years Percy Theodore “Ted” Autry and a sister Daisy Roberson.

Surviving her to carry on her legacy is one daughter Lisa Holland and husband Michael Holland, of Stedman NC; one son Bryan Autry of Stedman, NC; three grandchildren Justin McLemore and wife Davena of Fayetteville, NC, Brandon McLemore and fiancée Lagina Brewington of Stedman, NC and Karson Autry of Huntersville, NC; five great-grandchildren Jeremiah McLemore, Julius “JuJu” McLemore, Neenah McLemore, Raylinn McLemore and Jayden “Bubba” McLemore; one sister Faye Carter and husband Hershel of Raleigh; and a host of extended family, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service. Funeral Service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Magnolia Baptist Church, in Stedman with the Rev. Travis Hoke and Rev. Tommy Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
