U.S. Army SFC Andrew Lee Brenner, 46, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at UNC Hospital at Chapel Hill.
He was born on May 20, 1968, in Toledo, Ohio.
He served four tours in Iraq with the 82nd Airborne Division. During his military career, he served more than 22 years and received the Bronze Star and numerous medals and commendations.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 19 years April L. Brenner, of the home; two sons Branden N.A. Brenner, of the home and Alex Cowell, of Toledo, OH; one daughter Katelyn Marie Dubuis, of Augusta, GA; and one granddaughter Adelynn Grace Dubuis, of Augusta, GA; and his parents, Dale and Sharon Brenner, of Hinesville, GA; one brother and one sister; and a host of extended family and friends.
A private memorial service for the family will be held at Sullivanâs Highland Funeral Service.
