U.S. Army Ret. SFC Curtis Lee Danley, Sr., 59, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mr. Danley was born on May 30, 1953 in Lexington County, SC. He was the son of the, Nolan Danley and the late Carrie Danley.
Curtis is survived by his wife of 25 years, Oksun-Kim Danley; son Curtis Danley Jr. of Fayetteville, North Carolina; son Sherdale Clark of Atlanta; daughter Maely Jones and fiancée, Curtis Carter, Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina; Two brothers Guy Danley and wife Isabel of Fairfax Station, Virginia; Shian Danley and wife Thelma of Hampton, Virginia. Three sisters, Sandra Singleton and husband Edmond of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; Frances Danley of Capitol Heights, Maryland and Shirley Danley of Capitol Heights, Maryland. Seven nieces; Two nephews; Nine great nieces; Eight great nephews and a host of many other relatives.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 1:45 pm to 2:45 pm at Sullivanâs Highland Funeral Service prior to the funeral service. The funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm at Sullivanâs Highland Funeral Service, with the Rev. Joshua Kim, officiating. The interment will be held at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 12:00 noon with full military honors.
