U.S. Army Ret MSG. Warren P. "Jack" Kramer
U.S. Army Ret. MSG Warren P. “Jack†Kramer, 81, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015 at his home.
He was born on July 24, 1934, in Hutchinson, MN to the late Peter and Gladys Kramer.
He was a Vietnam War Veteran, receiving four Bronze Stars, two Air Medals, and the Army Commendation Medal, and numerous other medals and commendations. He served in the U.S. Army retiring with over 20 years of honorable service to his country. He was a member of the Cumberland Country Ambulance Service from 1974 until 1994.
He is survived by two sons Larry Kramer and wife Phyllis, of Portsmouth, VA and David Kramer and wife Martha, of Greenville, SC; one sister Judy Iverson, of Hutchinson, MN; three brothers Dennis Kramer and Donald Kramer both of Hutchinson, MN and Jerry Kramer, of Grants, NM; five grandchildren Kristin Kramer, Lauren Kramer, Ryan Kramer, Brandon Kramer, and Dustin Kramer; four great-grandchildren Jordan Hood, Kayden Hood, Haley Kramer, and Andrew Martinez.
A graveside service will be held at noon on Friday, January 8, 2016, at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with the rendering of full military honors.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Retired Military Association 120 Elizabethtown Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
