U.S. Army Ret. Master Sgt. Charles Nye Bush
U.S. Army Ret. Master Sgt. Charles Nye Bush, 88, of Fayetteville.
He was born on June 7, 1920, in Pineville, MO, to the late Mayme Duke Lee Bush and Amos Nye Bush.
He retired from the U.S. Army with over 22 years of honorable service receiving numerous medals and commendations.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory four daughters, Maria C. Haight, of Sanford, Diana E. Newman, Caroline Danita Robinson, and Denise Vee, all of Fayetteville; and a son Amos Bush, of Dallas, TX; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2015 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service and Crematory, Inc., of Fayetteville, NC.
