US Army COL (Ret.) John W. Williford, DDS, MSD

US Army COL (Ret) John W. Williford, DDS, MSD, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away at his home on August 8, 2018.

He was born in Suffolk, VA, on January 28, 1930.  He proudly served over 27 years in the Marines and Army.  John’s career spanned during the Korean and Vietnam Wars.  He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.

John is survived by his wife, Geneva; children, Elizabeth (Larry) Hodges, John Williford, Jr., Leigh Anne (Clark) Wilson, Jim (Vicki) Williford, Jeff (Cindy) Williford; eight grandchildren;  and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service is planned for 2pm on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.
