Shirley E. Fournier

Shirley E. Fournier, 81, of Fayetteville passed away on January 5, 2025, at her home.

She was born in Cumberland Co., NC on November 27, 1943, to the late Sidney and Emma Shambach.

Shirley loved Jehovah God and his son Jesus. You would always find her studying her Bible and talking to people about the Bible. She was a cat lover as well as a lover of music. Shirley could play the guitar and piano. She was a person who loved life and would never take a moment for granted. She will be missed, but she will be back in the resurrection.

“Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice” - John 5:28 

Left to cherish Shirley’s memory is her son, Steve Shambach; daughter, Audrey Carrier; sister, Marie Wrenn (Cyrus); brother, Daniel Shambach; grandsons, Aaron Brown and Sidney Carrier; granddaughter, Victoria Carrier; 2 greatgrandchildren, Josephine and Evelyn; close family members, Robert, Lurine, and Bobby Cornell; nephews, Patrick Shambach and Tony Fisher, and niece, Lisa Fisher; dear friends, Pam Yarborough, David and Pat Ann Matthews.

A graveside service is scheduled for 1pm Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Lafayette Memorial Park.
