Roger Curtis Williford, 85 of Eastover, was born November 26, 1925 in Greensboro and passed away Friday November 25, 2011 at the VA Hospital.
Mr. Williford is formerly of Smithfield. He graduated from Eastover School and NC State University with a degree in poultry Science. He was a commercial egg producer in Johnston Co. for more than 30 years. Mr. Williford was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents Leon and Hilma Bolton Williford; brothers Rupert Williford and Larry Williford; sister Carolina Williford and wife Omah B. Williford.
Mr. Williford is survived by a daughter Charlotte G. Williford, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 2pm Tuesday November 29, 2011 at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with the Dr. John Campbell officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lebanon Baptist Church Building Fund, 3329 Beard Road, Eastover, NC 28312.
