Robert "Bob" Grunden, Jr.

Robert “Bob” Grunden, Jr., 67, of Fayetteville, passed away July 6, 2024, at his residence.

Bob was born in Easton, Maryland on February 12, 1957, to the late Robert and Alice Grunden. He proudly served in the US Army and he also worked for many years with PWC in Fayetteville.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024, at noon at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, July 17, 2024, from 6 to 8 pm at Sullivan’s Highland.

Bob is survived by his wife, Sandy Grunden; four children, Cody Grunden, Jerrod Belanger (Brittney), Sara King, and Greg Cardenas; five grandchildren, Taylor, Shianna, Jacob, Joseph, and Maggie; two sisters, Carol Gresham and Bambi Grander (Kent); his brother, Joseph Toup (Nora); and several nieces and nephews. 

Bob will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and how he took such good care of them.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Duke Cancer Center, via Duke Health.
