Rev. Donald Leroy Budd

Rev. Donald Leroy Budd, 87, of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at the North Carolina State Veterans Nursing Home.

He was born in Ashtabula, OH, to the late Lawrence and Dorothea Budd, on May 21, 1933.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Alta; sister, Juanita Parrish; and brother, Larry Budd.

Donald proudly served in the Marine Corps.  He was a retired teacher and retired minister.

Left to cherish Donald’s memory are his daughters, Susan Knox and husband Mark, Karen Pilcher and husband Ronnie; grandsons, Brandon Pilcher, Chad Pilcher, Chris Knox; Great Grandchildren, Hannah, Jacinda, Grace, Chase, Cole, Yasmine, and Mason; and sister, Cathy Lee.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service. A memorial service will follow at 6:30 PM.
