Ret. U.S. Marine Thomas "Tom" Ray Trent, 76, of Fayetteville, passed away at his residence on Sunday, March 6, 2016.
He was born on October 16, 1939 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald and Gertrude Trent.
He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War, earning numerous commendations.
Thomas is survived by daughters, Debra Lee of Parkton and Sandra Daily of Fayetteville; sister, Jacqueline McLendon of Eustis, FL; seven grandchildren; three nieces; one nephew; and beloved furbabies, Goonie, Little Bit, and Buddy.
A private family service is planned at Sandhills State Veteran’s Cemetery.
