Ray Howard Tingen Sr.

Mr. Ray Howard Tingen, Sr. 91, of Fayetteville, NC , died on Sunday, December  16, 2012, at his residence.
Mr. Tingen was a U.S. Air Force WWII Veteran and attained the rank of Major.  In civilian life, he had a long career in automotive and marine sales.  
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy N. Tingen and his son,  Ray Tingen, Jr.
Mr. Tingen is survived by his daughter, Judi Blizzard, and husband Doug of Smithfield, NC; grandchildren, Doug Blizzard, III, and wife Sherrie, of Clayton, NC, Suzanne Boutwell and husband, Keith, of Holly Springs, NC, Ray H. Tingen , III, of Raeford, NC, Kelly Gray, and husband Tony, of Fayetteville, NC; and seven great-grandchildren.  
The family will receive friends from 11:45 a.m.  until 12:45 p.m. prior to services at Grace Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. , on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Nicholas Rich, officiating.  Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flower, memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 3901 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303.
