Phillip Muldrow, Jr.

Retired US Army Sergeant Major Phillip Muldrow, Jr., 83, of Fayetteville, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, September 8, 2023.

A funeral service will be held Friday, 22 September 2023 at 12:00 pm at New Bethel AME Zion Church with Elder Chalmers McDougald presiding. The burial will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with military honors.

The family will receive friends Thursday, 21 September 2023 from 6 to 8 pm at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.

Phillip was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Else “Marie” Muldrow.

He is survived by his five children, Roderick Doss and wife, Raydale, of Columbus,GA, Steve Doss and wife Christina of Fayetteville, Vanessa Stovall and husband, Shawn, of Lakeland, FL, Ronald Muldrow and wife, Beth, of Amarillo, TX, and Sandra Doss of Fayetteville; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Charles Muldrow; and a sister, Ruby Roberts.
