Pamela Jean Cox, 63, of Hope Mills, passed away on May 10, 2023, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
She was born in Fayetteville on July 10, 1959, to Betty and the late Eddie Hinson. She attended South View High School. Pam joined her love, her husband, Tom, as a long-haul truck driver for eight years, where they experienced many adventures as they traveled coast to coast.
Pam was a member of Faith Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and taught AWANA. She was an artistic person who enjoyed gardening, wildlife rehabilitation, and crafts. You could always count on Pam to be a supportive ear during your time of need. She was a friend to all and will be missed greatly.
Left to cherish Pam’s memory is her husband, Tom; daughter, Kallie Ann Cox; mother, Betty Davis Hinson; brother, Eddie Winston Hinson, Jr.; sister, Brenda Marie Wade; nieces, Rebecca Hinson Beck, Bridget Hinson Robles, Dianna Lynn Hinson; nephew, James Tyler Wade; and numerous cousins and friends.
A graveside service, officiated by Rev. Bill Allen, is scheduled for 3pm on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Ten Mile Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumberton.
The family requests that you wear country casual, in honor of Pam.
