Nancy Butler Tyson
Mrs. Nancy Butler Tyson, 74, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013.
Mrs. Tyson was preceded in death by her husband George Sprunt Tyson.
She is survived by one son, Craig Tyson, and wife Debbie, of Fayetteville; one daughter, Jeanette Tyson, of Richmond, VA; one sister Judy Robinson, and husband Ken, of Fayetteville; four grandchildren Amanda Smith, of Fayetteville, Leanna Tyson, of Fayetteville, Jackson Watkins, of Richmond, VA, and Madeleine Watkins, of Richmond, VA; three great-grandchildren, Kole Smith, of Fayetteville, Samantha Smith, of Fayetteville, and Sahleene Spinelli, of Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Sherwood Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund 4857 NC Highway 87 South Fayetteville, NC 28306.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Sherwood Presbyterian Church with Rev. Archie Barringer and Rev. Chip Grammer officiating. Burial will follow in Tyson Family Cemetery.
Services entrusted to Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service and Crematory, of Fayetteville, NC.
