Myrtle Wilson Vann

Myrtle Wilson Vann, 98, of Raleigh, formerly of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Woodland Terrace in Cary, NC.

She was born in Fayetteville on May 30, 1919.  She was a lifetime member of Highland Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Emily Howie Sunday School Class and the Choir.  Myrtle was a graduate of Converse College in Spartanburg, SC and a member of the Colonial Garden Club and the Chaminade Music Club.

Myrtle is survived by her daughters, Marcia Plyler of Raleigh and Nancy Motola of Santa Fe, NM; grandchildren, Alex, Kris, Andrew, and Kristen; and great grandchildren, Kate, Cam, Wilson, Wade, Lincoln, and Lucas; sister, Edna Harper of Fayetteville; and brother, George Wilson of Johnson City, TN.

A funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Highland Presbyterian Church with a reception following the service in the fellowship hall.  A private family burial will held at Lafayette Memorial Park.
