Ms. Emma Capps Squires

Ms. Emma Capps Squires, 86, of Hope Mills, NC, went home to be with her Lord, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August, 31, 2014, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

She was born on August 3, 1928, to the late Joseph Leonard Capps Sr., and Ollie Moore Capps in Cumberland County NC. She retired from food services with Cumberland County School System.
Surviving her to carry on her legacy is two daughters Linda Squires Grubb, and husband Jim, of Fayetteville, NC: and Lula Squires Arbasetti; two sons Larry Phillip Squires, and partner Dale Sabo, of Fayetteville, NC, and Linwood "Buddy" Squires, and wife Diana, of Crossville, TN; two sisters Inez Capps Matthews, of Wade, NC, and Ruth Capps White, and husband James, of Hope Mills, NC; grandchildren James "Dan" Grubb, Jr., Michelle Grubb Montalban, and husband Franz, Robert Arbasetti, Angela "Angel" Arbasetti Rice, Sharon Squires Horst, Sabrina Squires Becker, Sarah Squires Pruitt, and six other grandchildren; great grandchildren Briana, Nicholas, Madeline, Allison, Aline, Ben, Marlon, Malte, Marie, Kira, and Matthew.  

Family and friends will celebrate her life from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service on Thursday, September 4, 2014.

A private interment will be at Lafayette Memorial Park Mausoleum.
