Mrs. Teresa Spainhour Mayes, 53, of Fayetteville, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015, at her residence.
She was born on May 13, 1962 in Alamance County, NC to Steve Spainhour and Sylvia Evans Spainhour.
Her father preceded her in death.
She is survived her husband David Mayes, of Fayetteville, NC; her mother Sylvia Evans Spainhour; one daughter Shassilene Cummings, of Fayetteville, NC; one son Joshua Cummings, of Fayetteville, NC; her mother Sylvia Gregory, of Graham, NC; three grandchildren Logan, Hunter, and Jillian; four sisters Tina Spainhour Cobb, and husband Scottie, of Graham, NC, Tabatha Wilson, Greensboro, NC, Tammy Spainhour Helmer, and husband Orlo, Whitsett, NC, and Tonya Esquivel, of Graham, NC;
The family will receive friends from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service with Pastor Bill Allen officiating.
