Mrs. Shirley C. Thorpe, 63, of Fayetteville, NC, recently passed away at her residence.
Mrs. Thorpe was a Nurse's Assistant. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Thorpe is survived by her daughter, Cherie Monroe, and husband Kimothy, of Raeford, NC, son, Darrick Lee Cooper, and wife, Orleen, of Stockbridge, GA, sisters, Lola Gillis, Dora Cooper, Carol Cooper, Cathy Cooper, all of Pottstown, PA, brothers, Jimmy Cooper, Odell Cooper, Jr., Michael Cooper, Donald Gordon, all of Pottstown, PA, grandsons, Trey Wade, of Greenville, NC, Christopher Wade, of Huntersville, NC, and great-granddaughter, Madison Wade.
The family will receive friends at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service from 2:45 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. prior to services.
A funeral service honoring the life of Mrs. Thorpe will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at 4:00 p.m., in the chapel of Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service.
Services are entrusted to Sullivan's Highland Funeral & Crematory.
