Mrs. Sherry Byrne Moore

Sherry Byrne Moore, 72, of Oak Island, NC, formerly of Fayetteville, died September 28.  She is survived by David C. Moore, Jr., her husband of 54 years; children Cindy Moore Callahan, Shelley Moore Greene, David Moore, III, and Tracey Moore Kearns; grandchildren Ryan Callahan, Blair Callahan, Grace Callahan, Lauren Olauson, Joe Wellbrock, Alexandra Moore, Aaron Moore, Madison Moore, Tyler Kearns, and Lindsey Kearns; great-grandchild Porter Olauson; special nieces Ashley Reams and Whitney Matthies; sisters Wendy Mayer and Laurie Betzhold and special sister-in-law Brenda Fisher.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 2, at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service, 610 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC, followed by a private burial in Historic Oakwood Cemetery, Raleigh.  The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 955 Mercy Lane SE, Bolivia, NC, 28422.
