Mrs. Sarah Ann Leonard
Mrs. Sarah Ann Leonard, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Autumn Care of Fayetteville, NC.
She was born on April 3, 1926, in Harnett County, NC to the late W. J. Knott and Mary Grey Sherman Knott.
She retired with Lively Knit Manufacturer. She also formerly was employed with Black and Decker and Carolina Telephone Co. She attended Northwood Temple.
She was preceded in death by one son Michael Leonard and one daughter Julieanna Melton.
She is survived by two daughters Joslyn Truett, of Charleston, WV and Jennifer Agosto, and husband Juan, of Fayetteville, NC; four sons Harvey Reynolds, of Fayetteville, NC, Timothy Leonard, and wife Earlene, of Fayetteville, NC, Mark Leonard, and wife Chantel, of , Mililani, Hawaii, and Kevin Leonard, and wife Cindy, of Colfax, NC; two brothers John Knott, of New Bern, NC and James Knott, and wife Minnie, of Fayetteville, NC; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, in Spring Lake, NC.
Services entrusted to Sullivans Highland Funeral Service and Crematory, of Fayetteville, NC.
