Mrs. Ruby Smith Garner, 85, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016.
She was born on October 5, 1930, in Danville, VA to the late Thomas Edward Smith and Lelia Easom Smith.
Preceding her in death also was a daughter Barbara Sparkman.
She is survived by one son George Garner; three daughters Frances Thomas and husband Wayne, Beverly Cannon and husband Tim, and Judy Baker and husband Eddie; a son-in-law Howard Sparkman; one brother Eddie Smith; two sisters Audrey Miller and Marie Woods; 10 grandchildren Tommy, Donna, JJ, Steve, Michael, Bryan, Brandon, Daren, Mark, and Alice; 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Praise Fellowship Church of God. A celebration of life service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
