Peggy O'Neal Carter left this world today. She left behind a family of whom she loved more than life. It was from the strength of her family that she found courage. Peggy knew what it was like to be loved. She had the good fortune to know what the strength of love and prayer could do, but most important , what it was like to be touched by the hand of God. Her life crossed paths of many people, some by choice, some by chance; but all in some way, good or not so good, she was touched by them all.
Peggy's love of life will continue to live through her husband, her daughters and her grandchildren. There is no greater love than that of family.
There will be no funeral services as that would be a sign of mourning. Life is to be celebrated and will be celebrated by immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Big Hurt Project, 1838 Joe Hall Rd., Hope Mills, NC 28348.
Services entrusted to Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service & Crematory, Inc.
