Nancy was born in 1940 in Beaver Dam Township, the eldest daughter of Bertha Miller and Troy Ancil Fisher
Her passions in life were gourmet cooking, flower and vegetable gardening, and genealogy research. She was a member, former president and newsletter editor for the Cumberland County Genealogical Society.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Kitty Fisher, brother Troy Ancil Fisher, Jr. and nephew Lane Fisher. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, John Stephen Ewing, sisters, Mary Ancil Fisher, Helen Troy Fisher, Bertha Sue Brisson, brother William Lalaster Fisher, nephews, Elisha Paige Fisher Streno (Jeremy), Matthew Owen Fisher (Selena), George Muller Roth, III (Gail), Gregory Ewing Roth (Meg), Michael Paul Durkin, Elise Brisson Webster (Valerie), Audra Brisson Harris (Jason) and 9 grand nieces and nephews.
Burial will be private.
