Mrs. Nadine Grady Davis
Mrs. Nadine G. Davis, 82, of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
She was born in Lenoir County on July 12, 1932, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Alex and Susan Grady.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Cecil A. Davis and her brother, Alex Grady, Jr.
Nadine retired after a successful career in the mortgage banking industry. She was always faithful in service to her family, friends, and church.
She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Koonce and husband Don, Debbie McKethan and husband James, and Cil Adams and husband Gary all of Fayetteville; two brothers, Nathan Grady and Bobby Grady both of Kinston; five grandchildren, Laura Mulkey, Emily Barrett, Devin O’Connor, Davis Adams, Dylan Adams; and three great grandchildren, Dean Barrett, Hayes Mulkey, and Libby Mulkey.
A private family graveside service will be held at Cumberland Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. A memorial service officiated by Dr. Bruce Martin will be held at Village Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 2:00PM. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Eastern North Carolina Chapter, 3739 National Drive, Ste 110, Raleigh, NC 27612, or to the Child Advocacy Center of Fayetteville, 222 Rowan Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301.
