Mrs. Martha "Scottie" Hildegard Vanaman
Mrs. Martha "Scottie" Hildegard Vanaman, 96, of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, in Fayetteville.
She was born on Saturday, January 13, 1917, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Kort Spitzner and Martha Hornickel.
She was a devoted homemaker.
She is survived by one son Robert Vanaman and his wife Lee, of Fayetteville, NC; and one daughter Ann Taylor and her husband Lacy, of Lillington, NC; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
Services entrusted to Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service, and Crematory, of Fayetteville, NC.
