Mrs. Lula Mae Nabors
Mrs. Lula Mae Nabors, 97, of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014, at Village Green Nursing Home.
She was born on December 9, 1917. She was a proud member of Order of Eastern Star, Lodge 334.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Nabors; daughter, Betty Swain; son, Jimmy Nabors; grandchildren, Beth Nabors, Ricky Swain, and James "Bobo" Nabors, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Nabors and wife, Dot, of Fayetteville, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service from 6 to8 p.m., on Saturday, December 20, 2014. A funeral service will be officiated by the Rev. Archie Barringer, in the chapel of Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2014. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Faymont Baptist Church, Building Fund, 3663 Cumberland Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
