Mrs. Lenora Hair Benson
Mrs. Lenora Hair Benson, 79, of Fayetteville, NC went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 7, 2015.
She was a native of Cumberland County, NC born on January 6, 1936, to the late Claude James and Viola Hair. She was also a member of Palestine Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Earl Benson.
She is survived by four daughters Linda Sandy and husband Eric, of Roseboro, NC, Sally Black, of Fayetteville, NC; Anita Maynor and husband Dean Kevin, of Bunnlevel, NC, and Mary Benson, of Raeford, NC; two brothers Clarence Hair and William Hair; two sisters Lucille Lane and Marie Allen, all of Fayetteville, NC; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 11:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Thursday, February 12, 2015 prior to services at Palestine Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Joe Hair officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
