Mrs. Karen Marie Helms, 58, of Fayetteville, NC formerly of St. George, SC passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Peggy Helms.
She was a retired teacher with Williams Memorial Elementary School, in St. George, SC with over 28 years of service. Currently she was a teacher with Seabrook Elementary School, in Fayetteville, NC.
She is survived by two sisters Sharon Helms, of Fayetteville, NC and Terry Helms, of Wendell, NC; one brother William Helms, and wife Hyon, of Fayetteville, NC.
A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the residence.
