Mrs. Karen Faircloth Curlee, 65, of Fayetteville, NC, went home to rest in the arms of her precious Lord and Savior, on Sunday, February 26, 2017, after a long battle with Lupus.
She was preceded in death by her father Francis LaPrelle Faircloth.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Paul Curlee; two sons Christopher Curlee and wife Jennifer, Justin Curlee and wife Sarah; and one grandson, her pride and joy Dylan Curlee, and her mother Edna Jackson âMAâ Faircloth.
Karen retired from the Cumberland County School System in 2001 after teaching at South View High School for 28 years. She was a lifelong member of Temple Baptist Church where she served her Lord through many different capacities throughout the years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially trips to the beach. She also enjoyed time with her friends and extended church family.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Temple Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Kelly Bullard officiating. She will be laid to rest in Lafayette Memorial Park.
