She was born on September 15, 1931, in Bladen County, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband Reece Yates.
She is survived by her sister Naomi Hedgepeth, of Fayetteville, NC.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Lafayette Memorial Park.
