Mrs. Evelyn Mildred Lovette
Mrs. Evelyn Webster Lovette, 79, of Fayetteville, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Carolina Rehabilitation Center of Cumberland surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 29, 1935 in Dillon, South Carolina to the late Rembert and Eula Mae Bullard Webster.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gernie Lovette.
She is survived by one son William E. (Billy) Newmeyer, III., of Fayetteville, NC; one daughter Kathy Lovette Jackson, and her husband Jeff, of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters Edith Lockey, and Shirley Bunce, both of Fayetteville, NC; one granddaughter Mandy Newmeyer Bryant, and her husband Kurt, of Fayetteville, NC; two great-grandchildren Brooke Bryant and Braxton Bryant, both of Fayetteville, NC; and a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2015 prior to services at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to North Carolina Alzheimer’s Association 1305 Navaho Drive Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27609.
