Mrs. Eva Mae Starling McCaskill, 83, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016.
She was born on May 21, 1933 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Clarence Starling and Mary Ann Jernigan Starling.  

She was a retired secretary from Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.  She was also a member of Massey Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Glen “Monk” R. McCaskill of the home; two daughters Barbara M. Meek of Fayetteville, NC and Glenda Melvin and husband Richard “Rick” of Myrtle Beach, SC; and one son Michael McCaskill and wife Shelia of Fayetteville, NC; three grandchildren Jason McCaskill, Joshua McCaskill and Allyson Melvin Nealis; and three great-grandchildren Elizabeth Nealis, Landon McCaskill and Lucas McCaskill.

The family will receive friends from 11:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.

Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Tim Evans officiating. Entombment will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
