Mrs. Dolores Briscar Gallagher
Mrs. Dolores Briscar Gallagher, 81, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014 at her home.
She was born on January 25, 1933, in Lemont Furnace, PA, to the late John Stephen Briscar and Anna Mika Briscar.
She was also preceded in death by a son John Joseph Gallagher Jr.
She was a Red Cross Volunteer. She was also a member of the 3rd Order Secular Franciscan and also very active in her neighborhood watch.
She is survived by three daughters Ann M. Matthews, and husband David A., of Fayetteville, NC, Judith Soto, of Raleigh, NC, and Catherine Gallagher Waldrop, of Fayetteville, NC; one son Steven V. Gallagher, of Fayetteville, NC; one sister Veronica Valentovich, of Uniontown, PA; granddaughter Valerie Soto White, of Raleigh, NC; grandsons David Soto, and wife Heather, of Raeford, NC, James Guy Jr., of Fayetteville, NC, Matthew Guy, of Fayetteville, NC, and Joshua Slavic Gallagher, of Uniontown, PA; great-grandchildren Kimberly Soto, Alyssa Soto, and Nathan White.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1100 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
