Mrs. Daw Hla Khin

Daw Hla Khin passed away peacefully on September 7th, 2015 at the age of 102. Born on February 5th, 1913 in Pakokku, Burma (Myanmar) to U Kyan and Daw Hnin Ban. She was the loving mother of five children: Min Than Thoung of Yangon, Myanmar; Dennis Thoung of Chelmsford, Essex; Winston Thaung of Baltimore, MD; the late Khin Swe Thaung of Yangon, Myanmar; and Khin Si Thaung of Fayetteville, NC. Also survived by twelve nieces and nephews, eight grandchildren, and many other family members, Daw will be forever cherished. We will see you in another life, Nok Nok. The funeral will take place on Saturday, September 12th at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service & Crematory.
