Mrs. Carol Lee Smales, 45, of Hope Mills, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 5, 2014 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, in Fayetteville, NC.
She was born on March 12, 1969, in Cumberland Co. , NC.
She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Jamerson.
She is survived by her husband Edward Rhoden; daughters Jennifer Thrasher, and Shannon Jamerson; sons, Michael Barraza; and Jessie Jamerson; and six grandchildren; mother Peggy Adkinson; three sisters Jeanette, Theresa and Betty Jo; and a brother Joey; and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 11:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Wesley Pritchard officiating.
