Mrs. Bessie Marie Gates

Mrs. Bessie Marie Gates, 76, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2013. She was born on November 20, 1936 in Orange County, NC. Mrs. Gates was the daughter of the late, Mr. Raymond Pickett and Mrs. Elizabeth Brockwell Pickett.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda West and husband David West; two sons, Gregory Gates and Mark Gates; four grandchildren, Jonathan Collier, Stephanie Keating, Jennifer  Gates, and Taylor Gates; one great-granddaughter, Payton Keating. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Buddy.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey St. on  Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 10:00 AM.
