Mrs. Alice Faye Britt LaFollette

Mrs. Alice Faye Britt LaFollette, 72, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on December 23, 1943, in Cumberland County, NC to the late Claude Paul Britt and Fannie Norton Britt.

She was a retired patient advocate with the VA Hospital in Fayetteville.  Alice was also a devoted member of Baywood Pentecostal Holiness Church.   She was a member of the choir and the church pianist for over 63 years.  

She is survived by one son Chris LaFollette and wife Rose of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters Claudia Stokes of Porterville, MS and Mildred Hatcher of Autryville, NC; three grandchildren Alysha LaFollette,  Austin LaFollette and Jordan LaFollette; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Baywood Pentecostal Holiness Church from 11:45 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. until time of services.

Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2016, 2016 at Baywood Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Oris Hubbard and Rev. Richard Robinson.  Burial will follow in Cross Creek Cemetery.
