Mr. William Vernon Prince, 60, of Linden, NC passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at his residence.
He was born on January 22, 1954 in Cumberland County, NC.
He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother.
He was a 1972 graduate of Kubasaki High School in Okinawa, Japan. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a senior field technician with Fujitsu USA.
He is survived by his loving wife Jana Prince, of the home; one daughter Mindy Prince, of Greenville, NC; one son Robert Prince, of Raleigh, NC; his parents David and Thelma Prince, of Dunn, NC; his mother-in-law Jackie Jones, of Ayden, NC; two sisters Katherine Williams, of Greensboro, NC and Cindy Prince, of Dunn, NC; one brother Darren Prince, and wife Wanda, of Dunn, NC and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2014 in Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service Chapel, with Rev. Archie Barringer officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the USO or to a charity of one's choice.
