Mr. Thurlow Muriel Gregory, Sr.
Mr. Thurlow Muriel Gregory, Sr. 83, of Stedman, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on March 30, 1930, in Broadnax, VA to the late Florence Christy Gregory and George Waldo Gregory.
He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and a Purple Heart recipient.
He is survived by his wife Mary Gregory, of the home; three daughters Deborah D. Motte, and husband Phillip, Joni L. Angsten, and husband Tom, and Patty G. Kennedy, and husband Keith; two sons Thurlow M. Gregory, Jr., and Richard C. Gregory, and wife Patricia; five grandchildren William Gregory Thomas, Daniel Patton Thomas, Richard Allen Gregory, Justin William Gregory, and Emma Lauren Gregory; and eight Great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Faison Cemetery, in Faison, NC, with Rev. Tim Gore officiating.
Services entrusted to Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service, of Fayetteville, NC.
