Mr. Roger Dale Scott
Mr. Roger D. Scott, 68, of Fayetteville, passed away in his home while surrounded by his loving family on Monday, May 11, 2015.
He was born on January, 31, 1947 in Cumberland County, to Mr. and Mrs. Claude and Ida Scott.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia, of Fayetteville; daughters, Heather Ryan and husband Robert of Linden, and Courtney Williams and husband Robbie of Raeford; sister, Nancy Edwards of Asheboro; brothers Milton Scott and wife Mary of Omaha, Neb., and David Scott and wife Angela of Hanover, PA, and four grandchildren.
A memorial service conducted by Rev. Dennis Goodwin will be held in Haymount United Methodist Church at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2015. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. in the New Life Center prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the National Wildlife Federation at nwf.org or to the church of your choice.
