Robert Lee Wilburn, 89, of Wade, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Haymount Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Harnett County on May 3, 1927 to the late Mr. and Mrs. J.C. and Ruth Wilburn. He proudly served in the Army during the Korean War. Preceding Robert in death are his sisters, Isabell Gregory, Gertrude Beard, and Wilma Stephens; brothers, James Wilburn, Billy Wilburn, and Wade Wilburn.
Robert is survived by his wife of 60 years, Juanita Wilburn; daughters, Johanna Trogdon (Darryl) of Hope Mills and Judith Quesenberry (Mickey) of Wade; grandsons, Jeremy and Jason Quesenberry; sisters, Jean Holmes of South Carolina and Pauline Pena of Fayetteville; numerous nieces and nephews; and fur babies, Taz, Teah, and Zoey.
A graveside service officiated by Rev. Archie Barringer is scheduled for 11 am on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Lafayette Memorial Park.
