Mr. Robert W. Drake
Robert W. Drake, 84, was born and raised in Attica, Indiana.
He graduated from Attica High School in 1950, and from Indiana University in 1954.
Bob served two years in the U. S. Air Force. He worked for Cargill, Inc. in various locations throughout the U.S. managing several soybean processing operations. Bob retired from Cargill in 1993 in Fayetteville, NC, where he was living at the time of his death. He was active in the Fayetteville community, serving on the boards of the Cumberland Community Foundation, the Salvation Army, the Museum of the Cape Fear Historical Foundation, and the Cumberland County Chapter of the North Carolina Symphony.
There will be no service. Burial will be in the Drake family plot in the Attica, Indiana cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cumberland Community Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice.
