He was preceded in death by his mother Jean Musselwhite Thompson.
He is survived by a daughter Elizabeth; two sons Phillip Jr., and Lake; his father Jeff; sister Angie, and husband Kenny; brothers Jay and Daniel.
Services will be held in North Myrtle Beach, SC.
