Mr. Larry Phillip Squires

Larry Phillip Squires, 59, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on February 13, 1956, in Cumberland County, NC.  He served in the United States Army honorably and received numerous medals and commendations for his services to our country.

He was preceded in death by his mother Emma Capps Squires.

Surviving him to carry on his legacy is his partner  Dale R. Sabo, of the home; two daughters Sharon Squires Horst, and husband Tilo  and Sabrina Squires Becker, and husband Axel, all of Germany; sister Linda Squires Grubb, and husband Jim, of Fayetteville, NC; brother Linwood Buddy Squires, and wife Diana, of Crossville, TN; five grandchildren Aline, Ben, Marlon, Malte, and Marie; Dale's parents Paul and Marian Volarcik, of Brunswick, OH; and his best friends George Elasser, of North Royalton, OH and Hattie Locklear, of Fayetteville, NC.

The family will celebrate his life on Thursday, April 9, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service. Rendering of full military honors presentation will be held at 7:00 p.m. during the visitation.
