Mr. Joseph “Joe†Lacy Konen, 31, of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014.
He was born on December 1, 1982, in Sedalia, Missouri to James William Konen and Tammy Jo Gillis Konen.
He attended Freedom Biker Church Fayetteville. Joe worked at Best Buy in Fayetteville.
He is survived by his parents Jim and Tammy Konen, of Fayetteville, NC; one sister Merica Marengo, and husband Jose, of Fort Walton Beach, FL; two brothers Shawn Konen, stationed in Korea, and William “Will†Konen, and wife Leigh, of Aberdeen, NC; maternal grandparents Bessie Gillis, of Red Springs, NC and Herman Gillis, and wife Elsie, of Laurinburg, NC; fiancée Jennifer Rogers, of Vass, NC; nieces and nephews Dominick, Vyctoria, Mason, Cale, and MacKenzie.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 13, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Freedom Biker Church Fayetteville with J.D. Tew officiating.
