Mr. Jesus Lugo, 81, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 at his residence.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Also he was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
He was born on August 29, 1932 in Arecibo, PR to the late Rafael Lugo and Asuncion Feliciano Lugo.
He is survived by his wife Jeannette Gonzalez-Lugo; two daughters Patricia Eaton, of Fayetteville, NC and Denise Lugo-Dutcher and husband Darryl, of Fayetteville, NC; one grandson Nicholas Eaton, of Fayetteville, NC; three sisters Antonia Martin, of Brussels, Belgium, Maria Lugo, of Guaynabo, PR, and Marta Campos, of Scottsdale, AZ; one brother Angel Luis Lugo, of San Juan, PR.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. A funeral mass will follow at 12 noon. Burial will be in Municipal Cemetery of Arecibo, in Arecibo, PR.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Cancer Center of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center 1638 Owen Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
Services entrusted to Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service, of Fayetteville, NC.
